ATW appoints a Group Chief Risk Officer to strengthen oversight across its subsidiaries

ATW Financial Group has appointed a Group Chief Risk Officer, a new role that reports directly to the Risk Management Committee of the Board.

The Group Chief Risk Officer will set group-wide limits for credit, liquidity and operational risk, and will oversee compliance programmes at each subsidiary. Subsidiary risk teams will report into the role, giving the Board a single, consistent view of risk across the group.

“As the group grows, our risk discipline has to grow faster,” said the Group Chief Executive Officer. “A single framework, owned at Board level, is how we protect customers and shareholders as we prepare for listing.”

The appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026.

ATW Financial Group reports first-half FY2026 results

ATW Financial Group today released its unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2026.

Net operating income grew on higher business loan volumes at Future Growth Consultant and GXL2 Holdings, while consumer lending at Galaxy Credit and Investments grew steadily with stable asset quality. Credit costs remained within the group's stated risk appetite.

The group continued to invest in risk management and compliance capabilities ahead of its proposed listing on the Singapore Exchange.

ATW sets out its governance framework ahead of the proposed SGX listing

The Board of ATW Financial Group has established four committees, covering audit, nomination, remuneration and risk management, each with written terms of reference.

The Board has also adopted policies on business conduct, whistleblowing, anti-bribery, securities dealing, continuous disclosure and data protection. All charters and policies are published in the corporate governance section of our website.

The framework is designed to meet the Code of Corporate Governance 2018 and the listing rules of the Singapore Exchange.

Colleagues from across the group run money-management workshops for first-time borrowers

Volunteers from across ATW's subsidiaries ran a series of free workshops on budgeting, understanding the true cost of credit and reading a loan contract before signing.

The sessions were open to the public and were not linked to any product or promotion.

“Good lending starts with informed borrowers,” said one of the volunteer organisers. “We would rather people borrow less, and borrow well.”

Four financing businesses now operate under one holding company

ATW Financial Group has completed the organisation of its four operating subsidiaries under a single holding company.

Each subsidiary keeps its own brand, customers and specialist team. ATW sets group strategy, allocates capital and oversees risk and compliance for all four.

The structure gives customers access to specialists who know their needs, and gives shareholders one clear view of the group.

ATW Financial Group reports FY2025 results and proposes a final dividend

ATW Financial Group reported net operating income of S$36.2 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, up 17.4% on the previous year.

Profit attributable to shareholders rose 24.0% to S$13.0 million, and net asset value per share increased to 51.00 cents.

The Board has proposed a final dividend of 1.60 cents per share, subject to shareholders' approval at the Annual General Meeting.
